Met up with my sister today after work :) we just bonded and bought a few lippies and then craved for some Wendy's frosty and fries, hehe...and before going home she shot my outfit shots. :)

Fashion School: Day 2

Here's an overdue post on how my second day of fashion design class went. Since we didn't meet last week, our instructor Ched asked us to pick our favorite fashion designer from an era that he assigned us an another one that is our personal choice. 

I chose Jean Desses because of his design aesthetic. He was inspired by his travels abroad. He specializes in creating draped evening gowns in chiffon and mousseline, based on early Greek and Egyptian robes. Here are some of his designs that I loved:

Birthday man

You've just seen a trailer from a movie that my boyfriend and I watched yesterday. I must say that The Underworld: Awakening, lived up to the hype! I had me totally gripped from the first scenes from the movie. It was also nice to see Kate Bekinsale's character, "Celine" again; a femme fatale in petite frame in her sexy leather outfit fighting off the Lycans in action- packed sequences. Over all it was a great action movie, you'll never get bored with the fight scenes and special effects that's just better seen in a theater. Nice pick BF! ( I keep on picking the most boring movies kasi,hahaha!)

Fashion School

Here's a late post on what happened on the first day of my fashion design class at FIP :)

I came in early and made friends with the other early birds :) at about 9:30 AM our class started. About 12- 15 students were present that day, some of the girls were already acquainted. Then our instructor Ched introduced himself and told us his own definition of fashion.

Under a different name

So sorry for not posting on my blog, I've been off duty for two days now and I just feel sad. I feel like I just broke up with my online shop :P Let me explain to you why. 

I was really optimistic this year that I was slowly going to fix up the requirements in order to have a physical store (in the near future). A friend of mine told me a couple of weeks ago that she saw a similar store with the same name as mine. Just to be sure, I checked for shops online and I saw none. To formally have that business name for myself I decided to go to DTI and have it registered.

What's in Store for 2012?

Had an impromptu photo shoot with my lil sis last Sunday. :) Just a little something to help boost her confidence. I did her make- up and she did the styling and we just bonded in the make- shift studio inside my room. So what's in store this 2012, check out the photos below:
