Review: Google Calendar

In my efforts in finding a more financially rewarding sideline besides having a 12 hour hospital shift I'm also thinking of ways how I can effectively manage my time. There are a variety of planners that can be both entertaining and useful out there, but what is really doing the job for me is having a calendar online through Google calendar. What I like most about this system is that you get reminders sent through email or even have text messages sent right to your mobile phone hours before the event. This helps me keep track on important events and manages my tasks to reach a certain deadline.

It has a very user-friendly interface, aesthetically pleasing and in the end makes your job easier. Try this application or better yet, tell me what free application or program helps you through your job? :)

forum influence

I've joined an online forum a couple of months ago, in my quest of finding a reputable skin clinic that offers laser hair removal in a reasonable price. And boy, did I get more that what I asked for :) Yes, I did had my laser hair removal and I got really satisfying results (review to be posted later) I also had my beauty loot from Watson's because of the products that I wanted to try from the reviews of the Girltalkers that I read and hopefully I could write them each specific reviews later on.

Here's my Watson's Beauty Loot:

1. Asian Secrets Lulur Scrub
2. Opal Pink 1 minute deep conditioning hair treatment
3. Marrionaud Tweezers

and for the Make-up

4. Nichido over all stick in Sunset Glow
5. E.L.F. under eye concealer and highlighter
6. Maybelline Pure Water lipstick in P12
7. E.L.F. Eyebrow Kit
8. Wish lip and cheek tint

Lastly, Girltalk helped me get in a job!!! :) (this is a very interesting story, I even told this during the final interview and nailed it!) I'm still looking forward in getting accepted in a job through ODesk by the way, I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for the blessings God! :)

RING IN THE NEW YEAR

Yeah yeah, I know this is a late post, since January is practically ending, hehe... so let me start by telling you how I spent my New Year's Eve. Hmm...it was unfortunate that I got scheduled for hospital duty at 6am for January 1, so you could imagine my demise of not having to celebrate with my family, but just trying my best to sleep the night before. So, there I was trying to sleep at 10pm even though firecrackers are already firing in their glory. I just prayed and closed my eyes and before I knew it, I was off to dreamland..."clang clang clang" yes...my grandmother woke me up as soon as the clock struck 12!!! waaaahhh!!!! I was so angry, but because of respect I kept it to myself. I then quickly ate a hearty media noche with my family and went to bed by 1am.

And then, my phone rang. It was already 6am, and It slipped my mind that I was supposed to go to the hospital for duty!!! WHAT A WAY TO START THE NEW YEAR!

After that very tiring and toxic duty, I told to myself that this wasn't going to be my whole year. And an exciting series of events came my way :) all of these are to be posted very soon!
