Went Blonde!
Dyed my hair for the first time a couple of weeks ago; my sister Audie texted me after duty asking if I could accompany her to the salon to get her hair dyed cause she's feeling sad; so off to the salon we go! :P
We then went to Hemel's Salon and Spa to try their services, it was my first time so I let my lil sis guide me.

Night Swimming at Cristina Villas
After our terrible ordeal at Callospa we ended up having our team building at Cristina Villas. Most of us were really expecting the worst, we even imagined that it was that Haunted Villa that was used in a Filipino Horror Movie, haha! Sorry but we were just really pissed and at 9pm we were still on the road thinking if this event was worth pursuing.
A few dizzying hours later, we got off at an Antipolo gas station and waited for the shuttle to arrive. The driver was really pleasant and even though he felt like some of us were irritated, he still managed to get us to our destination .
Aaahhhh...at last, Cristina Villas. And fortunately, it wasn't that bad after all! :)

Callospa Incident
Disclaimer: This post is intended not to detract or bad mouth the company but it is to create a detailed account (as narrated by Love and Ms. Ruth) of the incident with utmost honesty and to improve the services of the said establishment.
“Sorry ma’am closed po kami ngayon because of a private event.”
What would you do if the receptionist told you these dreaded words? We were supposed to have a fun team building event with my co- nurses at Callospa in Antipolo, but even after having paid the reservation fee days before, we still went through this very disappointing experience.

mini photo shoot for shop euphoria
I just to share to you guys some photos of the small photo shoot we had with my colleagues for Shop Euphoria. Medically, Euphoria means happiness :)
Khel started the business a few weeks ago but have been thinking of starting her shop months prior. A few of our friends then lent her a hand; Love modeled her products, Karmie was in charge of hair and make up and I took the shots.

Shop Review: Logolooza
I was finding someone who could do my product tags for me, I then posted it in Multiply's seller group and received overwhelming responses from various suppliers. One response that caught my attention was Logolooza, she offered to give me a free mock up because this was also her first time making product tags and wanted to gain the experience. She asked how much my budget was and agreed to work around it. With a 200 peso budget I was expecting that the designs would be limited. I was surprised on how professional she was and her designs were clean and organized, just how I liked it. I told her my shop's background and style to get her inspired.
I chose this design and wanted it to be printed in a brown card stock:

joining in the satchel bandwagon
I always get so envious whenever I see a satchel on a fashionista's arm :) popularized by brit Alexa Chung; this handbag trend is here to stay. At last people wouldn't be weirded out if I always bring a stylish carryall bag.
Then a few days ago, the zipper of my trusty big bag jammed and broke! (which gives me a reason to shop for a new bag, ha ha!) I had to find a bag big enough to hold my net book, my phone, planner, wallet, keys and umbrella; so why not find a laptop bag instead of the usual satchel so that I'd have more bang for my buck. And then as I was stormed by A LOT of laptop bag choices (most of them were boring) I stumbled on Bratty Bonita Laptop bags!
Their bags has a Fixed Laptop sleeve, Padded with high density foam (Uratex) and Straps Long enough to wear on shoulder. Their bags are made with Russian and US Leatherette and has an interior divider, and best of all they have a variety of designs to choose from.
Initially I had my eyes set on this bag:

Groupon date at Tender Bob's
Here's a cheap date trick that I am sharing for those couples who wanted to try something new but are also saving up for something big (like "the big day") *wink.
A lot of groupon sites popped up this year, there's cashcashpinoy, metrodeal, ensogo and for the higher end deals there's dealgrocer. But still keep in mind that even though you are getting the deals in lower amount doesn't mean that you have to buy every deal that pops up ( I knew a few people who does that) Anyway, I bought this cashcashpinoy voucher a couple of months ago so that my boyfriend and I could try other restaurants but with half the price, the problem was we really didn't had the time; as what I've told from a previous post, its hard to be an Army girlfriend because you'll just never know when you could spend the time together; so we rarely plan our dates.
Good thing, he just came back from a mission from Bicol the day before and has time to spend with me, *kiligkilig! off to Tender Bob's Greenbelt!

Clinic Photoshoot
I was off duty yesterday but I was requested to come by the clinic for a quick photo shoot for the company's organizational chart. Since Shinagawa is a Japanese company, it was very fitting to be made up by a Japanese Hair and make up artist too :) Geeky as it might sound, I was so excited and anxious to be photographed. I felt like I was just more comfortable to be behind the camera.
Here I am with Glen, Akira's assistant.

Shop love: Izzo Shop
I bought my uncle's DSLR last month in the hope of pursuing my love of photography. I was skeptical in buying his Nikon D70 at first but after a lot of research and reading I decided that it was a great buy for an entry level DSLR. I had the kit, spare batteries and 2 other spare CF cards and that's all. I still had to buy a lot of things like screen protectors, lens cleaning sheets and a camera bag. I searched for camera bags in the internet and found a flurry of black padded and bulky mannish- looking bags and then I saw "the satchel". I inquired with A LOT of online sellers, and every one of them was out of stock. It was funny though, I am a Multiply seller and I almost forgot to search for it in the multiply market place. And then I did! luckily, I found this cute shop, selling mainly camera bags, straps and gadget cases. IZZO SHOP
I immediately filled up an order form and texted Madz. I was so relieved that the design that I wanted was on stock and they have the lowest price from everyone that I inquired from! Here is a description taken from their site.

After everything was cleared up, I paid for my MOLLY BAG the next day, and got my package on Thursday, just as it was scheduled. Happiness!

plethora loves MY SWEET SHOPPE

| BEFORE- my amateur effort in making my shop's layout |
As an online seller, I am constantly finding ways to improve my shop. And my shop's layout is as important as the clothes that I am selling :) It should convey the chicness, feminine and simple style that what a Plethora woman is. Of course its not just about the aesthetics, the colors that would make a woman shop on my online store but also how the navigations are placed; what is most accessible for the buyer? the colors used; if it would showcase the items being sold. So I almost change my shop's layout quarterly for a fresh new look! :) I have worked with different designers, experienced being on the wait list and paying tons for every page element added...and then I stumbled upon mysweetshoppe of course, attracted by her minimal, cute layout I browsed her site, and then I saw that she offers site revamps!
Let me enumerate what I loved about her service:
1. She has a FIXED price of 200 pesos of 2 column layouts and 250 for 3 column layouts, this includes the header, footer, background, welcome image and even the navigation links for both header and left rail!! (OMG!!! this was the reason why I got her, other designers would charge a minimum of 600 pesos with a minimun number of links, additional links and a welcome image would be another charge)
2. THERE IS NO WAITING LIST- after sending the order form, she would then PM you about the other details needed, color scheme, link list and all. No need to wait for a couple of months :)
3. She is very easy to talk to- with all the revisions, and "pangungulit" she still remained to be very patient and professional :)
4. The end product is what she promised, a clean minimal layout- which I love!
*for 200 pesos and a day, this is clearly a steal if you want your sites revamped! More power Ven! and I'll definitely come back and let you design my layout in the future :) click HERE to check out my shop's revamp! :)
